We will be commemorating the cutting of the first sod of the SW Railway Branch line on Saturday 20th May, please note that we will meet from 1.30pm at the Railway Arms, departing at 2pm for Beechy Ride. Those wishing to drive will find parking at the layby on Newport Rd and on Wendon Rd from where a short walk north or south along Beechy Ride will take you to the point where the Railway line crossed the Fulfen Slade.

We are delighted to confirm that our new Mayor, Cllr Heather Asker, will be in attendance, and we will also be joined by a number of former mayors.
