Vennings Cafe – Opening at the Railway 30th July

The wait is almost over.

After months of restoration and plenty of anticipation, we’re delighted to announce that Venning’s Café at The Railway Arms will officially open on Thursday 30th July, marking an exciting new chapter for our much-loved community pub.

Our beautifully restored Victorian coach house has been transformed into a stunning new café, complete with a state of the art kitchen, while carefully preserving the character and history of this unique building. It’s a project we’re incredibly proud of and we can’t wait to share it with you.

The opening also coincides with our Summer Beer & Cider Festival, making it the perfect time to visit. Throughout the festival, delicious food from Oliver Beetlestone and the Venning’s Café team will be served from the new kitchen via the stylish serving hatch, alongside our fantastic selection of beers and ciders.

This is just the beginning. Following the festival, Venning’s Café will gradually extend its opening hours before welcoming customers into the café itself, where you’ll be able to enjoy counter service and relax in the beautifully restored hayloft seating area. Bringing this historic building back to life has been a real labour of love. While the journey took a little longer than we’d hoped, the end result has been well worth the wait. We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us along the way, whether you’ve popped in for a pint, spread the word, volunteered your time or simply cheered us on.

As a community-owned pub, every improvement we make is about creating an even better place for people to meet, eat, drink and enjoy time together. We’re thrilled to welcome Venning’s Café to The Railway Arms and look forward to what we know will be a fantastic partnership.
