Return of the Roast

We are happy to announce that Sunday Roasts will once again return to the Railway Arms from this coming Sunday (29th May). See menu below:


Served midday to 4.00pm


Honey and Wholegrain Hock Terrine

Wholegrain ham terrine accompanied with wild rocket salad with a honey and mustard dressing 


Focaccia Bread 

Olive, Rosemary and Tomato Salad of Roasted Vegetables

      Roasted almonds and Balsamic Rocket


Press Pork Belly, Baked Apple and Crackling

Pork belly cook for 12 hrs in apple cider, star anise, pimento, ginger, garlic, thyme, orange peel, onion, cloves, bay leaves, and celery then press, slice and pan fried serve with crackling


Herb and Garlic Roasted Beef 

Pink, green and black peppercorns lend serious spice and pretty pops of colour to make this the perfect roast beef


Roast Chicken

Roast Chicken with sausage meat stuffing and cranberry sauce


Nut Roast

This hearty nut-roast is loaded with good stuff, and the onion gravy with it is brimming over with flavour


Coriander-Maple Glazed Rainbow Carrots

Give the cinnamon a break and bust out the coriander for this one-pan side. A final toss in lime zest and maple syrup will ensure these root veggies taste anything but bland

French Beans and Shallots

French green beans, also known as haricot vert, are thinner, more tender and flavourful than traditional green beans

Rosemary Potatoes

Fluffy inside, crunchy outside, these roast potatoes are a perfect sidekick to any roast dinner

 Crunchy pavlova with fresh exotic fruits, rhubarb, raspberry and mango.  high in vitamin C and other antioxidants. Glazed with passion fruit, the low- calorie passion fruit seed add tartness and intense tropical flavour


Sticky Toffee Pudding

Individual rich sticky toffee pudding paired with an eloquent cinnamon panna cotta. This dessert is accompanied with a velvety toffee sauce, caramelised walnuts and sweet and salted popcorn


Crème Caramel

This timeless crème caramel in its simplicity at its best, albeit with some fine touches to bring the dish to life. The dessert is paired with some candied orange zest, and raisins infused in a rum and sugar syrup until plump and sweet
